Shin-Yi Hsiang Farmers' Association

Pardon? Well, this is a whisky (remember, Taiwan doesn't necessarily adhere to SWA rules!) from a Farmers' Association in Taiwan. Although I can't find any further information, I am assured it is sold in shops in Taiwan. So do they keep all the good stuff for themselves? Let's see!

'Hey', 40% ABV

Well, what more information do you want?

Typical cost of this bottle; €€€€€

Glass: Classic Malt

Colour: Very pale yellow, a bit like ... no, let's not go there.

Nose: Michelin man didn't wash today! Sorry, but there is a little pungent rubber. After a minute or two this sweetens into honey-coated banana dipped in a fruity syrup.

Palate:  Here goes ... A weak and watery mouth-feel offers slightly bitter and sour star-fruit, apple and pomegranate

Overall Impression: OK, been there, done that, no T-Shirt but no need to go back for one.
