Campbeltown Loch is a range of blended whiskies from J&A Mitchell, owners of Springbank & Glengyle distilleries.

Rumour has it that some of this range contain a high proportion of Springbank whisky.

Glass: Classic Malt

Colour: Golden yellow

Nose: Slightly sweet nuts and creamy furniture polish seem to dominate before something slightly metallic and perfumed appears.

Palate: Creamy malt and butterscotch are followed by a slight leafiness which leads into the finish.

Finish: Medium to long with mild fruit; Papaya, apricot and peach are identifiable.

Overall Impression: Very pleasant, smooth and inoffensive, but sadly lacking a little "je ne sais quoi".
